NEVER, ever give up by Erik Rees

Mr. Rees tells a wonderful story of courage and love in his book about his daughter, Jessie.  Jessie was seriously ill, and instead of dwelling on her troubles, she thought of how she could help other children who were also ill.  Hence, JoyJars were born.  She created these jars full of goodies to encourage and to love children who were seriously sick.  Her idea grew to the Jessie Rees Foundation, which has raised over $3,000,000 for those JoyJars.  "Never, ever give up" became Jessie's motto.
Though, Jessie passed just 10 months after her diagnoses, her story and encouragement live on.

Thank you to Handlebar.
